Day 1 consisted of walking a mile or so into downtown Kodiak. We went to a couple of welcome centers and the harbor. We had a nice lunch and then continued site seeing. I have posted several pictures on the photos page, and no, the picture of the girls and the bear was not in Alaska, but in good ole Indy! From the church where we are residing, we can look directly to the east and can see Woody Island where the mission project will begin next Monday. It has been cloudy all day and we are hoping that it will clear off soon. We are trying to get a deep sea fishing adventure scheduled and are completely amazed by the beauty of His creation.
